Find Great Careers That Require Only Two Years of College

Finding a great paying career is what we all want. But how do you find the time to finish up years of college when you need to work right now? Simple, many jobs are available that only require two years of college rather than four. Here are just a few careers that will hire you with an associates degree (two years of college) and offer you a decent salary.

Medical Coding and Billing. There are colleges that offer students a chance to get a degree or certificate in Medical Coding and Billing in just 9 months to 2 years, depending on what stage of a degree you want. Medical Coding and Billing jobs pay great and also allow you to work from home. You will learn how to analyze and code for hospitals to increase their payment amounts which means the more they make, the more they will pay out. It's worth it to most hospitals to pay people to Code and Bill even from home because you are helping to make their facility money. Medical Transcriptionist. You can make good money by going to school to become a medical transcriptionist. Medical transcriptionists listen to and type dictations done by doctors either in the radiologist department, medical records, or Same Day Surgery. Depending on the hospital, you can also choose to work from home and have more time for family. Many schools offer a degree in 9 months to 1 year. Electrician. You can earn your electrician certificate or degree in as little as 1-2 years. Many colleges offer an education as an electrician where you can choose to do residential, business, or non-profit accounts. Business Management. In as little as 2 years, you can have your Associates in Business Management and be on your way to a career in management of almost any field. Those who enter the field of business management choose to manage a department store, a bar, a restaurant, a large company, or open up their own business. The sky is the limit with this degree. Information Systems/Information Technology. Getting into the field of information systems or information technology is a great way to earn money from a career. Information systems is a high paying career that is vastly expanding. Almost all companies are in need of information technologists including hospitals, advertising companies, department stores, and any other company that owns and uses computers for information.
